is it still possible to vanish into the abyss in the post-modern world? where everything is traced and its origins detectable?
give me hope:
i have done terrible things to my family; i wish to disappear and leave everyone i know behind and start somewhere new.

hi, you need to avoid thermal radiation from your body. plus dont be around forests with lots of modern cars and phoners in them. avoid getting spotted by helicopters. i lived in a cave for 5 years but now im back on the internet.

How to Disappear Completely and Never Be Found - By Doug Richmond
This book is from the 80's/90's but still includes some information , otherwise it's a nice read to get you in the spirit of vanishing the person you call you and creating a new you.O

Rabbithole indeed.

I suggest reading Michael Bazzell's Extreme Privacy: What It Takes to Disappear - 5th Edition. Either buy it or find a copy elsewhere online. It's the best starting point out there and covers what you need to know to vanish.
